Bringing Personalized
Praline Selection Online

Neuhaus has been producing Belgian pralines since 1857, when Jean Neuhaus opened his shop in Brussels' Galerie de la Reine. His grandson invented the praline itself in 1912. Today the brand sells through 1,500+ stores in 50 countries.

One Box Builder, Live in Twenty Countries

20
Countries live

Fill Your Own Box is live in Dutch, English, French, and German, reaching shoppers in 20 European countries. They pick from 38 pralines, filter by allergen and filling, and build a box exactly like they would at the counter.

Neuhaus now runs one Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform across Europe and the US. Page Designer gives the marketing team control over content, and Marketing Cloud powers personalized campaigns for every market.

Challenge

A 170-Year Counter Experience, Nowhere Online

Neuhaus built its name at the counter, where staff help customers hand-pick pralines box by box. Online, that didn't exist. Customers could browse and buy, but never compose a box the way they could in a boutique.

Selling in 50 countries adds complexity. Chocolate needs the right temperature, gifting matters as much as the product, and Neuhaus wanted one platform for Commerce, Marketing, and Service, not a patchwork of tools.

Together as one team, we created a unified e-commerce platform for the EU and US.

How we did it

How we did it

We built Fill Your Own Box from scratch: box sizes, praline filters, and a system that works out exactly how many chocolates fit, whatever their shape. Built mobile-first, with the caching and infrastructure to keep it fast.

Alongside it, we rolled out Commerce Cloud across Europe and the US, added Page Designer for content and Marketing Cloud for campaigns, and connected Adyen so Neuhaus could centralize payments from POS to online.
